Yamelas Community Resource Center (YCRC) presents the Yamhill Artisan Fair in historic Yamhill, Oregon. A destination on the Oregon Lavender Festival Tour, the Yamhill Artisan Fair entices you with live music, extraordinary art, exceptional handmade crafts, live plants, and lavender in myriad forms. Spend a lazy summer day in Yamhill's Beulah Park while you feast on lavender-based cuisine along with a glass of local beer, and wine.  Live musicians help set the relaxed mood as you wander among juried artisans' booths, sit awhile in the shade of the oak trees and learn to make lavender crafts. Home of the Oregon Lavender Plein Air Art Show and Sale, the Fair offers paintings created by artists from around the Northwest who paint the blooming lavender fields for two weeks prior to the Fair.

Money raised by YCRC at the Fair goes directly to organizations that participate. Proceeds from 2009 were donated to the following community groups: Yamhill Community Action Partnership - $700, Yamhill Carlton School District - $1500, Girl Scouts - $300, and Boy Scouts - $300. The remaining proceeds go to YCRC’s Little Cubs preschool, Kid Space Afterschool Program and Art Classes.

This cooperative event brings local lavender growers and community volunteers together. You will discover lavender products, fresh cut lavender for purchase, essential oil distillation demonstrations, and lavender growing advice from experts. We are accepting canned food donations for our “Help Our Neighbors” food drive. Admission is free.
